at the dramatic faculty of the Greek National Theatre where he
made his debut as an actor in 1938 in “King Leer”. He acted
in all
types of theatre plays and acted in more than 120 films in supporting

talent and incredible acting techniques. He always left a strong
impression in all the roles he had, comical and dramatic. Remarkable
was his work in the play of Iakovos Kambanellis “Our Big Circus”
where he portrayed Kolokotronis, Venizelos and Karagkiozis.
Also he left a very good impression for his work in his
last film,
“A Voyage to Cythera” directed by the great Theo Angelopoulos.
